Website news (Correspondent: Liang Mingming) In the just-concluded 2014 China National Computer Conference, the project led by the He Keqing (professor of School of Computing)-key technologies, international standard, platforms and applications of software service in cloud computing-wins the 1st class reward of technological advancement awarded by CCF.
After nearly 5 years of cooperation in R&D between the research team led by He Keqing, and research team led by Zhang Liangjie, chief scientist of Kingdee Software (China), technical problems of software service such as "interoperability and virtualization" are solved.
This is another breakthrough in the Internet era after “interconnection and interoperability”. It settles the problem of on-demand omni-directional interaction and coupling interoperability in software service engineering. In this project, the team creatively uses the metamodeling method and virtualization technology for model interoperability based on RGPS (Role, Goal, Process and Service). It provides a systematic method for organization, packaging, interoperability, management, supply, and personalized recommendation in software service in cloud computing, and can provide on-demand, flexible and interoperable software services under virtualization management.
According to reports, the core technology of RGPS has been turned into ISO-IEC 19763-5, 7, 8, 9 series in metamodel framework for interoperability, which is confirmed as the fundamental technology of CCRA standard of reference frame in cloud computing by IBM, Oracle, SAP, and more than 350 other well-known companies. The standard technique has seen its application in more than 350 internationally renowned IT companies, which are members of TOG. It has led the trend of innovative technology in cloud computing solutions for IT industry. Besides, it also sees its industrialized application in Kingdee's Bos, EAS and K/3 cloud platforms, creating significant economic and social benefits.
In addition, because of this project, a number of research papers and monographs are published in important international journals and international conferences such as IEEE Services Computing Conference. The project has won 26 national invention patents and 18 software copyrights. It has realized international standardization in self-innovation technology, platformization in software service, and scale industrialization in its application.
